John Dueber buys the company and moves both Dueber & Hampden companies to Canton OH.

After bankruptcy the equipment is shipped to the USSR where Cantonians teach Russians the art of watchmaking.

With the sale of the watchmaking equipment and the end of US manufacture all that is left to salvage is the Hampden name.
